Where Caught: Either at camp (Whitefish Lake) or home (rural Neebing). Eating/digging soil.

Symptoms: Depression, no appetite, very seldom drank, no pooping, frequent urination, weightloss, labored breathing but not cough, major discomfort,couldn't sit or lay down for very long which led to exhaustion, fever, and open sores.

Treatment: The vet's first visit they x-rayed her stomach and found a bone lodged. They gave her antibiotics. Second visit xrays lodged bone was broken up into pieces. They gave her an enima, more antibiotics in case of intestinal infection and digestive booster dog food. Soon after she pooped and ate very little but was eating. By the next day she had no appetite or wanted to eat again. Third visit she stayed overnight was given IV and they did blood work. The next morning she died.
