Where Caught: I am not sure. We live near the Ohio River and she was raised on a farm with creeks and ponds.

Symptoms: She was first treated the beginning of March, 2011 with a wheezing and cough , like coughing up a hairbal as in a cat.nShe was to the vet three times and treated with antibiotics. the last visit they suspected Blasto. She went to another vet who has sent off the urine specimen and started treatment with the Sporinox. That was on April 14. We are in day 4 of treatment and the wheezin is increasing.

Treatment: One Sporanox a day.

Cost of Treatment: at this time $925.00 for a blood test, chest xray, urine test, exams, medication and an overnight stay.

Additional Comments: Does any one know how the recovery progresses. the first 2 days seemed pretty well. On day Three Dolly has increased in her wheezing and decreased in her appetite. having difficulty swallowing food that is too big in size.
