Where Caught: We are 99% sure that Hannah ingested the spores from turned up soil while vacationing in Sioux Narrows, Ontario in August 2010. Not long after we returned from holiday, I noticed she was not herself. She slept more, had less energy, and began to lose weight.

Symptoms: cough/gag, depression, lethargic, fever, panting, loss of appetite, laboured breathing, and weight loss.

Treatment: Hannah was diagnosed with blasto by our vet after an examination, blood tests, and a chest x-ray. She was diagnosed on Wednesday and died three days later. She did not live longer enough to be treated.

Cost of Treatment:

Additional Comments: I miss her terribly.
