Locality: Duluth, MN
Medical Diagnosis of Blastomycosis?: Yes
Where Caught: I moved from Hawthorne to Duluth in November 2010 and at that time Cooper was in good health. He became larthargic an began losing his appetite at the end of February and began dropping weight. He began to have a slight cough and regurgetated a little of his food two days ago . The following morning his breathing seemed labored, we immediatly took him in and he was diagnosed with blasto, but it was too late, Cooper never came home.
Symptoms: Lost appetite,
regurgitation of food
blood in his stool
Treatment: Due to Cooper's weakened immune system none was started as the vet felt he would not survive the treatment
Cost of Treatment: none applicable, Cooper was put to sleep and went peacefully 3/14/2012 at 8.20pm.
