Where Caught: I truely have no idea where our baby Hope got this horrible disease. She was strictly a home girl. The only place she went was our back yard and our neighbors for a play date. So it must of been one of this two places.

Symptoms: Started with a limp from her rear left leg. Then she started having trouble with her front left leg.She never had a cough. She had an abcess on her back which the vets thought was a bite from my other dog. (Even though I had explained that my dogs DO NOT FIGHT) She then began to run a fever with fatigue and started to refuse food. Then the panting and breathing issues began. She was wrongly diagnosed by two vets for a total of 3 times until it was too late. She was diagnosed on Monday and died Wednesday night.

Treatment: At first they put her on anti-inflammatories for the limp (Dermamaxx) and an anti-biotic. Then she was put on steriods for Wobblers Syndrome. When the diagnosis was made of Blast she was put on itraconazole.

Cost of Treatment: dont really know yet havent gotten the bill
