Where Caught: When I adopted her from the shelter I was told her cough was do to eating some pressboard to get to her pups and it would clear up soon well after almost 2 months of this poor dog suffering She was diagnosed today after a 2 hour and 15 minute vet visit (third trip) with Blastomycosis, the pressboard story I think was told to the shelter so they would take her, and could explain her cough to foster families The vet found nothing on X-Rays that would have been wood I think the owners knew she was sick but did not want to get her help, so they dumped her. Her vet bill today was $386.14 plus $119.07 for meds and the vet said if her problem is Fungal not Viral we have to start again but the only way to test her for a Fungal problem was for the vet to do a biopsy on her lung she has been through enough so I though I would try this first.

Treatment: She is on Delta Albaplex 3X
Prednisolone 5mg
Cefalexin 500mg

Cost of Treatment: Just over 700 dollars for a rescue dog but would not trade her for the world
