Any chance of saving Willow's eye?
« on: October 02, 2017, 06:32:42 AM »
My dog Willow was diagnosed with blasto a couple of weeks ago.  Skin lesions, eyes looked bad, and she was limping.  Lost a lot of weight too.

She seems to be recovering, but her left eye is clouded over now.

The vet said she wasn't sure if her vision would return or not.  Does anyone know her chances on this?  I'd hate for her to lose vision, even if it was just one eye.  The right eye seems okay, but the left one has this gray cloudy look.  Is it gone for good?  Does the eye have any hope?  I've been freaking out over losing her, but I think she's going to make it.

This is the stupidest disease ever.  Never even heard of it until all of this went down.  This dog is literally the nicest creature on the planet, and now her whole world got screwed because of some dumb fungus.  I wish more people knew about this.
