Symptoms: Limping in right frontfoot without any lesion. Then a lesion appeared and then a lesion appeared on the right back toe. Then she started limping on the left front foot.
Treatment: Sporanox 200mg X3 days, then 100mg daily and continues - this has been two months.

Additional Comments: The interesting part (now that I can look back) is that the exact same toe that started the process this May 2008 is the same toe last year at the same month that was infected, swollen and healed a month later with antibiotics and hydrotherapy- could be a coincidence but it seems strange that a year later she came down with this same toe involved and then each foot had either an ankle, toe or knee involved with what became known this year as blasto. Coinciding with the only evident menses she has had in three years of being with her- could it be she had the fungus a year prior but was keeping it at bay for a year?
