Get him to the vet right away or call your vet.  Cosmo is on fluconazole because it crosses the CNS boundaries.  He lost his sight in his right eye but the left eye is still okay.  The swelling is just starting to go down after a month of treatment.  The vet now has us on monthly visits but I'm not afraid to call him whenever I need to.  Cosmo is finally off of steroids so he is taking Deramaxx for pain now along with tramadol.  He only yips if he bumps his eye or a naughty weeds brushes his eye on our walks.  We also goop his eye twice a day.
Hope every thing goes well.  Keeping my fingers crossed.

Sorry it's been so long since I've posted, we've been busy cleaning up after the flood.  We thought Chester was on the road to recovery.  His eye problem seems to just be alergies.  But in the last few weeks another disturbing symptom has emerged.  He's walking as though he's intoxicated.  He seems to be loosing coordination.  He occasionally trips on the stairs, has trouble getting up on the couch, and will just walk crooked.  It's getting slowly worse.  Is this a symptom of the blasto?  Is it neurological?  Will it pass?  It's disturbing, and especially disheartening because we thought he was getting better.

Winter stumbled and had trouble going up the stairs towards the end, so, just to be sure, PLEASE see your vet asap.  You guys are in my thoughts and prayers.  Deb

Glad to hear it was only allergies with his eye symptoms.  I've been thinking about you and Chester.  Hope he gets better.

I agree that you need to contact your vet asap because the cns could be involved and dosages and even meds may need to be changed.
