I am sure Jen is talking about the same test. Marge also had hers done last year in June but we werent all "talking" about it like we are now as it seems to be a very accurate way to gauge the disease.

from what i understand yes it is new
last yr some tiem it came out i do not know when but when wilson was tested the pee pee test wasnt really heard of
so this is a wonderful brake through
i know  my vet wasnt to sure about it at first because it was so new but it has been showing good results

Same test, but no one really talked about it or mentioned it. I believe it's only been on the market since the beg. of '07. (?I think?)
 At the time, we were trying to figure out how to monitor Gunner's treatment progress, and it seemed to be the best option.
I think we actually got a lot more interested in it once we found out how specific it was and that it could be used not only for detection, but to measure azole levels as well.

Definitely.  I use the test for the same thing.  Comet has had 4 -- 1 before deciding to quit meds and two since.  I am on the two month program   This disease keeps the scare in you for a long time I guess.
