Absolutely. Every time I go past my computer I look to see how many people are online and the bulk are guests going through the case database, reading (and printing) the newsletter etc. But, I am seeing so many people reading the human topics and yet very few are posting. I am making the assumption that because they can speak for themselves, ask questions and interact with the Doctors they are rarely getting "involved" on the website but rather browsing through the information.
One worry I have that I have mentioned before is the people who post their cases and then go it alone. Those of us with survivors remember all too clearly the darkest days and hours when our pets suffering looked to be never ending and I think without the words of encouragement we received the option of euthanasia might have seemed the kindest. Now that we have come out of the darkness it makes me sad that we might not be able to encourage these folks to hold on a few more days, a few more hours - there is a good chance with the success rate of the new drugs, that their dogs can make it.
Sometimes I send an e-mail of encouragement but often I find there is no reply.
