Blasto in Illinois
« on: August 31, 2011, 10:24:36 PM »

Hello All,

I have blasto.

Took the doctors 3 months to diagnose, by then, it was manifested as ARDS

I was in the hospital for 4 1/2 months on Ampotericin B ffor 6 weeks and then Sporanox.
Spent 3 1/2 months on ventilator and in intensice care. Caught all infections one can get it a
hospital setting. Was in a drug induced coma for three months.

I have been discharged for 6 months with Sporanox + a handful of other drugs. Suffered severe
de-conditoning due to being in hospital. I am going to physical therapy and slowly regaining my
health.

Blasto is a terrible disease. I suffer respiratory problems and joint pain. Blasto has left me with
COPD and only a shadow of my previous health condition. Before I caught Blasto, I was only
taking 2 pills per day.

My prayers to any one who has had Blasto!

Thanks
