Blastomycosis info session in Cedarville, Michigan
« on: July 17, 2011, 06:34:53 PM »

There will be a public forum on Blastomycosis at the Clark Township Community Center in Cedarville, Michigan Wednesday, July 20, at 7:30 p.m.
This forum, presented by the Les Cheneaux Community Foundation, is intended to provide up-to-date information on the diagnosis and treatment of Blastomycosis, soil testing and a general understanding of the issues and risks of the disease.
Blastomycosis is a rare yet serious health threat to pets, especially dogs, as well as humans.
Portions of the Eastern Upper Peninsula and Drummond Island are considered high risk areas.
Dr. Clinton Groover of Pickford and Dr. Judith Westrick will present information and answer questions.
