Hi to all, I have now been taking the itraconazole 11 months with no improvement.  Saw drs. yest and will do a ct scan in Aug.  I have researched this hyperbaric oxygen therapy and medical ozone to treat a host of diseases.  I have discussed the possibility of trying this with a medical professional.  I am at my wits end.  This hyperbaric oxygen therapy makes sense.  Conventional medicine is not helping.  I'm ready to try something else.  Any input?

How big of a dose are u getting? And is it pill form? My daughter tried the pills and her body wouldn't brake the outside of the capsule down so she wasn't getting the meds inside. They switched her to the liquid and she has been doing that for 8 months. Her lungs are almost totally clear. Maybe this will help you. Good luck  Becca

Oh yes, I've been on the liquid solution from day one.  Taking 200 mg twice a day.  I asked my primary care physician today if he had any opinion on ozone therapy with the hyperbaric chamber.  He basically thinks it wouldn't do any harm, if I decide to try it.  Have you read any on this?  It is my understanding that ozone administered with this type therapy will kill fungus.  No insurance to pay however.

blasto can take a long time to get rid of. I was on itraconasol liquid form for 17 months before it was all gone. As long as it isn't getting worse keep taking it. Keep seeing your doctor preferably a specialist. Family doctors are not good with dealing with blasto.
