Dear Cindy, Hang in there. You have to take the antibiotics. I also had blastomycosis on my lung, ten years ago. I remember well vomiting up everything that was pushed at me. I did find that if I had I.V. antibiotics then i couldnt puke them up. I just went to the local hospital a few times a day.If you have to take them by mouth try the ketoconazole. But before you take it drink something acidy. 7- up ,orange juice coke. whatever you think you can stomach. I suffered with this for almost 10 years before I was diagnosed, so dont give up the fight. I guess I was lucky my lung colapsed 5 times in several weeks and the doc decided to take out 10% and staple it closed. Thats when he found the pustules on my lung (he strangely told me he had never seen anything like it) but he burned them off saying they would problably never come back. I was lucky they didn't(they were never biopsied). you can also try gravol of sorts 1 hour before you take the antibiotic.(check with doc first on this) I found metocloripromide worked for me, I was also given demorol for the pain and then hydro morphine(time release) as tylenol, asperin, and advil, codine made me vomit and gave me no releaf. If you need to chat just email me. I hope this helps and you feel better soon. Just remember this joke: if you have to vomit aim at a nurse or doctor they seem to get the point much quicker. haha Take care Jenjen
