We are entering day 6 of itra, and so far, so good.
Her breathing is almost back to normal, and temp was down to 102. I'm giving her 1/2 an antibiotic pill in the morning, and her 150mg itra pill with a spoonful of butter at night.
For her food, I've been mixing in canned puppy food w/ her dry food, and she's been eating normal sized portions. She won't touch dry food alone, but that prob. because she’s been spoiled with the wet food the past few weeks.
Things are going so well, I'm starting to wonder if she in fact has blasto. Our vet is bringing the slide of her throat swab up to the university to have a pathologist buddy of his look at it this weekend, but he is positive that blasto was the culprit.
Here she is last night, ready to play. The bandage on her leg is from where they had a catheter (which they never had to use), not a skin lesion.
