You are doing the right thing by continuing the Sporanox, from my understanding if it IS cancer, the Sporanox will not hurt Quincy.  Be cautious when making decisions after the two weeks, however - it can take up to three months to see any sort of 'dent' in blasto.  The aspiration would probably be smart, but it is so cost prohibitive....this stuff is so expensive!  Thinking about you guys and hoping the next two weeks bring Quincy some perkiness and healing!

You know its the strangest thing. On Friday evening he had a horrible case of diarrhea(sorry if thats too much information but he did). He was unable to hold it what so ever and before this time Quincy only had used the restroom probably a handful of times in the house as a puppy. My mom being a nurse has seen extremely ill people do this as their body begins to shut down, so we were fearing the worst. That night we decided to camp out on the bathroom floor so if he was leaving us, we would be together at least. The next morning though, he woke up HUNGRY, HAPPY, and PLAYING!!! He hasn't been like this in 3 weeks. He ate on his own, drank on his own, even ate some dry dog food. He also ripped up a stuffed toy, jumped on our lamps, and was BEGGING for food!!! He was like this all Sunday and Monday so we are hoping that it continues on today. Thank you all for caring. Boy, don't dogs bring soo much joy to our lives!!!

I bumped up the topic that had a lot of great ideas on feeding if Quincy is still uninterested in food.  Thinking about you guys!

YIPPEE!!! Quincy seems like a fighter.  Glad that he's perking up.  Does he have his smile back?  I was worried about the little guy.

So glad that Quincy is on the up and up.  Now to find out what made him so sick.  Has he been back to the vet?  What does he think?  Congratulations!!  And to Quincy - you better keep doing good boy!!  Hugs and puppy kisses.

Last week was a bad week for many of us, this week is a Godsend for most of you guys!  So many dogs have turned the corner for the better.  That is great news.  Wish it didn't turn out the way it did for Sadie, but I am really happy for you guys and your dogs.  Still waiting to hear about Doc.  Right now I think he was the last one still  waiting to hear about a positive turn around.  Everyone needs to pray for Doc Holliday and his mom, Bulldogger.

Love those pictures.  He's a Jack Russell through and through.  So happy for you, your mom and Quincy.

Was just able to read Quincy's update - so glad to hear he was up and playing!!  Don't be scared by the diarrhea, these antifungals combined with a diet change as we try to get pill our pups can be murder on the digestive tract.  Izzy just recently (almost a month into treatment) has had a couple of accidents in the house where she couldn't get out in time.  The vet told us to not be overly concerned, unless it was ongoing for multiple days or it was tarry/black or bloody.

Let us know how he's doing!
