Hi all,
Sorry it took so long for me to get back to the board. it turns out our little Oreo didnt have Blasto after all.
it was much more serious. what she was battleing was pancreatic cancer, and on sept 14 she lost the battle.
It still brings tears to my eyes to write this, i didnt realize how much i relied on her for my own well being. i was heart broken, she was only 2 and a half yrs old.
i want to thank all of you for your help and prayers. and no offence but i hope i never have to come back on this board except for the occasional hi how are ya.
on a bit of a happier note. some friends that heard about oreo passing on the same day they had to put their bailey down, told us of some puppies that were being given away. when we contacted the people they told us that someone had picked up the last one that evening to show some friends. so who could turn down a Schnau Tzu puppy so we were sad we had missed them. within a couple of hours they called and said that the person didnt want it so we went and got him.
the next day our friends call and said that someone else had brought back a little female from the same litter because they didnt realize how much time puppies required. the people that had the mother and father couldnt keep another dog so asked if we would like a sister to our pup......well it only took a couple of minutes to decide we could give a good home to another. so we are the proud parents of Max and Zoe.
i tried to post a pic here but it said the upload folder was full, if you want to see a pic check out my facebook profile pic Harry Ketterer. i have a work account and a personal account its my personal account that has the pic.
although Oreo will be sadly missed and never forgotten for her love and devotion. we have dbl the pups to give our love to.
thanks again everyone
